I can't sleep until I check out all the recently added DB fan pages out there!! Checking out 400 websites was a breeze back in high school era.(lol) Now I can only do it during winter/summer vacation. *le sigh*
So many new great sites, but there is one that caught my attention. It is this DB/Naruto fanart site, check it out or you'll regret it!

I just wish she'd draw Vegeta too. XD
Aside from that, I am currently checking out information on jobs in Denali & Glacier Bay National Parks... located in Alaska!!!
I want to do an Intenship there, I can even get paid while I'm at it. <3
Working for Aramak, the company listed as "most admired" in top 500 magazine, will look good on my resume. Not to mention a good way to save money, gain work experience, and go backpacking!! This is still at the planning stage, so I am uncertain how this will turn out. If I were to return again, I can choose OTHER national park locations and get a free lodging and other benefits, so it is better than working for GPI *cough*
Anyone care to join me...? (lol)
Update:
I think my Mom is starting to warm up to the idea. X3
BTW, has anyone checked out [link] ?
It's a great site for networking and sharing your interest with other like minded people. I signed up for hiking, knitting, and alternative health meet up. It'll be a nice "break" from school activity. With First Thursday Portland DA meetings, I certainly will be having more fun this year.
Currently I am visiting New Season's once a week to talk to people who are working right now to get tips on being hired. (lol) I also enjoy having a conversation on new products, so I am having a good time. I sure hope the new store opens up next fall after I get back from Alaska. I also signed up for LA fitness to keep my body in shape after my adventure.
Only thing I can't seem to get going is my GPA...
My experiment showed that 100% absence of Anime for a term did not raise my GPA so I am back to watching anime and reading manga again(lol)
I got all A's, and one C....which dropped my GPA, yet again! Grr, I should have just went for the "pass" and then my GPA would have gone UP. Too late now.
Getting straight A's was so easy back in high school. What in the world am I doing wrong in college??
My next challenge is the scholarship! I was sure I would have 3.5GPA by now but it did not work out.(;>.>) Looks like I'll have to work extra hard on my essay to make up for my "loss". Oh well, three key points is the essay, GPA and most importantly, SELF. Things like what have I done, what I am doing to support my goal, and what am I going to do in the future? This is what I am working hardest on, so my absence on DA has been one of the sacrifices I've made. Hey, I was so obsessed with this site my entire spare time + study time was taken up by browsing DA.
Anyway, that's my life in a nut shell. I am still reading all comments and I do look at all art I receive in messages. I just don't have the time to draw and submit art, or leave constuctive criticism/praise on people's art anymore. Once I do get a stable job and get my life straigned out, who knows... I might do a major give away on some of my art supply and give subscriptions or something wild.
Anyway, HAPPY NEW YEARS and I hope year 2006 will be a good year to work on something new for you guys as well!

If the people we love live on in us, the way to help them live on is to never stop loving them. Buildings burn. People die. But real love is forever.
